  • Where are you located?

    Our home base is in Denver, Colorado with our services extending to our European operations in Malaga, Spain.

  • How long have you been in business?

    Since 1999, we have been involved in designing and developing websites and marketing clients online.

  • Who owns Planet Media?

    Planet Media is a privately held Limited Liability Corporation, incorporated in the State of Colorado. The company was established in 1999 in Mountain View, California, and founded by Kurt Whitt, a Silicon Valley business executive with over 25 years of experience in Internet and web-based businesses, interactive television, new media, broadcast and broadband communications.

  • What does your branding and website design projects cost?

    The short answer: Our prices depend on so many factors, it’s difficult to say in one paragraph. We will need to chat with you to determine your required branding, design aesthetics, features and functionality and then we can provide you with a formal written estimate. Avoid any web developer who can answer this question without a proper discussion.

  • What kind of businesses do you work with?

    Our highly acclaimed work covers all business sectors from arts and film to media, publishing, airline and wireless services, institutional, non-profits and many more.

  • Who is an ideal client for Planet Media?

    At Planet Media, our clients are as diverse as our services. Planet Media differentiates itself….. online marketing best practices. We welcome small- to mid-market B2B or B2B companies that have limited internal marketing resources, and/or who need their website to be designed around organic Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

  • Do you accept every client?

    Creating a brand and a website is a big endeavor for all sides of the partnership, requiring both the design studio and client to have synergies and common goals and values for the project to be successfully launched. We are intentional in who we partner with, and if we don’t feel we’re a good fit, we’ll tell you so immediately so you can find your best fit for a design studio.

  • When is payment required for your design services?

    Typically, 50% of the estimated fee must be provided in advance to beginning work, with the remaining payments due in 25% installments. Your payment terms will be fully outlined in a formal contract and scope of work.

  • What payment options do you offer?

    Company check and/or credit cards are accepted. All projects require a downpayment of 50% to start.

  • How do we get started?

    We offer complimentary discovery sessions for all new and prospective clients. We welcome your inquiry by phone, email or personal consultation. Simply give us a call at 303.895.8460 or complete the confidential contact form on this website.

  • Will we need to have a face-to-face meeting to start my project?

    In the majority of cases a meeting isn’t necessary and most of our websites are generally completed with contact via email, telephone and Skype only. We place suggested website designs online via, our  secure testing server for you to view the work in progress. This way we can have regular communication to ensure you are getting exactly what you expect from the Planet Media team.

  • Do you redesign existing websites?

    Yes. We can redesign your site retaining your existing company brand or we can redesign it to give you a complete new image however, we may not work with your existing CMS platform.

  • What platform do you build your websites on?

    While we may not be able to work within your existing CMS platform, we are able to redesign your site while retaining your existing company brand or give you a completely new image through a redesign.

  • Do you work with other platforms like Joomla and Drupal?

    No. We work with either WordPress, ExpressionEngine or provide custom programming and can create extremely custom solutions for our clients.

  • Will my website be responsive or mobile ready?

    Yes. All of our websites are fully-responsive and will display properly on smartphones, tablets, notebooks and desktops as well as the major web browsers.

  • How long will it take for my web project to be completed?

    The timescale of a website design project is often dictated by the client. If you have a deadline in mind we will make every effort to meet it for you. The most common delay in the creation and completion of a new website is waiting for content (text) to be sent to us by the client. For most projects, we try to work within a 4-6 week time-frame.

  • Can you help me source photos for my website?

    Yes. We will help you source stock photos from sites such as www.istock.com. We also have photographers and videographers available to produce custom photography and videos for your website.

  • Do I own my website?

    Yes.  All photographic treatment and our design, development and code will be 100% owned by you.

  • How do I update my website?

    You will be able to update your website via a content management system (CMS). We work with a number of CMS platforms and your website CMS will be determined by the desired features, functionality and level of complexity.

  • Will my website be search engine friendly?

    All our websites are created with search engines in mind and the website design is compliant with search engine guidelines. It is a good idea for your website to be re-evaluated in time as over a period of time the search engines do alter their rules and algorithms and you will want to be certain that your website is kept up to date and complies with new rules etc. To gain maximum visibility by the search engines, we highly recommend utilizing our comprehensive SEO services.
